The female orgasmic experience is as amazingly diverse as women themselves. There are differences in the time it takes to climax, the sensation felt, and even in the types of orgasms themselves. According to a study in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, women experience two kinds of orgasms - external (usually referred to as clitoral) and internal (usually referred to as vaginal).

And if you're looking to climax at the same time as your partner like they do in the movies, it's not likely to happen. Less than 15% of couples have simultaneous orgasms.
